ADMISSION PROCEDURE
According to information obtained from university sources, students are admitted to BDS course of Bharati Vidyapeeth University Dental College and Hospital on account of the merit obtained by them in the All India Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Bharati Vidyapeeth University. The admission notice is published in all the leading newspapers in the last week of January or first week of February every year.
There is no need for the foreign/NRI students to appear for the Common Entrance Test.
CET APPLICATION FORMS: A candidate who wishes to appear for the CET will have to fill the prescribed application form available from the University office and submit the same to the University, on or before the scheduled date.
CET EXAMINATION: CET is conducted on decided dates at the examination centres in Pune, Navi Mumbai, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Vadodara (Baroda) Indore and Cochin. The exact location and address of the Examination Centre is communicated to the candidate through admit card.
MERIT LIST: The University prepares a merit list of the candidates appeared for CET in accordance with the total marks obtained by them in the CET examination (Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together). The candidates are called in for counselling as per their ranking in the merit list.
Counselling and on-the-spot-admission session: The compulsory counselling sessions are conducted at Bharati Vidyapeeth University Medical College, Dhankawadi, Pune 411 043 as per the schedule in the college application brochure.
